Presenting The Zelia Resort Collection
Commissioned series of artworks on behalf of the amazing, new Zelia Resort, at Potidaia, Halkidiki.
The collection consists of:
- 86 Artworks 90×70 cm
- 12 triptych 160×50 cm
- A 3 meters height tree – sculpture for the lobby
- A 3 meters triptych for the reception
- Artworks for the lobby, the lounge and the spa areas
Making of the 98 artworks - Rooms & Suites
86 artworks for the hotel’s rooms and 12 triptych artworks for the suites were the main body of the commission, created for the Zelia Resort & Spa Hotel. All artworks were mixed media (acrylics, cement, stucco and sand) on stretched canvas.

Making of the Tree
The end of August found me climbing on a tree, trying to put leaves, acrylics and polyurethane in one solid piece.
This challenging installation, a 3 meters long sculpture – tree, was hand made for the Lobby lounge area.
16 tubes of polyurethane, a pack of cement, sand, tones of acrylics, polypropylene fiber, stucco, 35 days (and nights) and a lot of energy were the main ingredients needed in order to bring this to life.

A 3 meters wall art installation for the reception area was also part of the Zelia Resort project. A hard-textured 3 pieces mixed media artwork with stucco, sand, acrylics, rust and a package of…. cannellonni pasta for the craters!

Finally, the Zelia Resort project was completed with the making of 2 more textured, mixed media artworks (Venetian stucco, cement, sand, acrylics) for the Lounge and Spa areas.
